Pediatric Manual Therapy uses gentle, hands-on techniques to support the brain, nervous system, cranial system, nerves, circulation, organs, and musculoskeletal system.
Each session is personalized to your child’s needs and may combine Craniosacral Therapy, Neural Manipulation, Visceral Manipulation, Visceral Vascular Manipulation, and other gentle manual techniques to address restrictions and support comfort, mobility, regulation, and development.
How Pediatric Manual Therapy Can Help

Support Nervous System Regulation
May help children feel calmer, settle more easily, improve sleep, and better manage sensory, attention, and regulation challenges.

Improve Movement & Nerve Function
May reduce restrictions affecting the skull, spine, joints, fascia, and nerves while supporting mobility, coordination, and more balanced movement patterns.

Support Feeding, Digestion, & Comfort
May help address tension connected to latch difficulties, reflux, colic, constipation, jaw mobility, and other digestive or feeding concerns.

What To Expect During Treatment
Sessions are designed to feel calm, gentle, and responsive to your child.
Infants may be treated while resting on the treatment table, in a parent’s lap, or in another comfortable position. Older children may lie down, sit, move, play, or take breaks depending on their needs.
Treatment typically involves light, precise touch rather than forceful manipulation. The guide describes pediatric Craniosacral Therapy as gentle hands-on work performed with the infant positioned comfortably and notes that sessions may last approximately 30 to 60 minutes depending on the child and their needs.
