When we are mindful, deeply in touch with the present moment, our understanding of what is going on deepens, and we begin to be filled with acceptance, joy, peace and love - Thich Nath Hanh
Meditation is a practice of sitting in silence and listening to the deepest part of you ( the part connected to the higher power), which gets lost due to patterns we learn since childhood from our parents and the environment to survive. Connecting to the blissful, joyous, happy you, your True Essence is a practice. This part of you is the birthright of everyone walking on the planet Earth but very few people are aware of or get few glimpses of in very few moments of life. To be alive is to be fully aware of the present moment where infinite possibilities exist. Sadly, in our modern society, the majority of people don’t know what that really means because we are either imprisoned by our past or chasing the future. Both the past and future are the biggest reasons for the suffering of humanity. Today mental health has become the highest priority, especially in the last two years of isolation. It truly gave us the opportunity to look within ourselves and work with all the information that was hidden in our subconscious and unconscious minds because we had time to sit in silence.
Meditation and mindfulness provide tools to align your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual body via techniques such as breath work, and repetition of mantra (sound) to train your mind to attain a state of stillness and peace. This state not just benefits you personally but everyone around you - your family, friends, community, and the Earth can reap the benefits if you commit to daily practice twice a day for 20 minutes.
Technique :
The Meditation technique will require you to be in a comfortable sitting position on a chair. The instructor will guide you through the practice with a body scan meditation, a transcendental meditation experience where you repeat the mantra for 20 minutes, breathwork, and gratitude meditation.
